Tom and I had our annual "fall getaway" last weekend. We drove up to Sun Valley on Friday afternoon. We had dinner at our favorite soup/burger/salad place and enjoyed looking around Sun Valley that evening. Saturday morning we got up and went to breakfast at The Kneadery.

I had my favorite breakfast out food "Eggs Benedict" and Tom had delicious french toast.

We went to a fantastic rummage sale at the Community school. Tom got a great pair of skis for $25.

We then drove up and over Galena summit

on our way to Stanley.

The fall leaves were beautiful.

We took a hike

into a "secret" hot springs

and had a 9.0 picnic.

We couldn't believe the weather, it was 90 in Stanley. Crazy hot for October. It was a fun fall outing and a great day to be together.

To heck with the secret hot springs. How about that crazy hot tub party we had Friday night at the hotel we had all to ourselves? That's the only "hot" secret I'm going to keep.
What a great trip! Sounds like youo had a lot of fun! Fall is such a beautiful time of year!
Wow, 90 degrees huh? And how do you two manage to always find hot springs wherever you go? Lucky!
Can you believe the weather?? Looks like a beautiful fall picnic!!!
Wow!! What a romantic getaway for you two Empty Nesters. The leaves look beautiful, and you're making me miss the cinnamon rolls at the Kneadery.
