I was so happy to finish this quilt for Sophie before I left for Richmond last week. I used a quilt kit (all the fabrics are included you just have to measure, cut and sew it together). After I put it all together, I had my friend machine quilt it on her free arm sewing machine.
"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Oh she will, she will! I love it! Nice work, Grandma Joanie!
Very cute quilt! I'll bet she love it, and she will really appreciate your hard work when she gets a little older.
So cute!! Nice work!! It really looks professional. You are so nice to make a quilt for every grandkid.
I LOVE that quilt, Joan! You are so talented to put that together! Mom would be proud!
Sophie absolutely loves it! Well, at least her mom does. Especially since she grew up reading Dick and Jane books. It really is very well done and we love it. Thank you!
