Last weekend we celebrated our annual Octoberfest at John and Cindy's. It was amazing as usual. Cindy and family do a great job of decorating and setting up all the tables and chairs

and then preparing most of the food.

The Wienerschnitzel is our favorite, but the lemon meatballs, bratwurst, rouladen, spaetzle, and roht kohl (red cabbage) are all delicious.

It is always so fun to see all the extended family.
For dessert we had Black Forest Cake, Apple Bread Pudding, Gingersnaps, and Red Velvet cake. YUM!

It was great to see Ali, Justin and their family with new baby girl Amelia. Ami, Hansen and Eloise were also there.

Representing the Stratford's, were Pam and Roger, Jodie, Abbie, Katie, and Blake, Mindy, Jack and Addie, and Missy, Jedd, Jared, Sam, Ellie, and Anderson.

You can't have Octoberfest without the Putnam side of the family.

It was a huge crowd, but John and Cindy are great hosts and everything was fantastic.
We look forward to Octoberfest every year. We like the food better than Thanksgiving food. Thanks John and Cindy for being such hospitable hosts! We love you!

Looks like tons of fun!!! I would love to enjoy all that amazing food!!
My mouth is watering all over again looking at that food. I LOVED my 1st Octoberfest at the Gabrielsen's.
What a great party! Wish we lived close enough to come; I'd love to try all that yummy-looking food. And of course see all the fabulous people!
Holy smokes!! They need that party featured on food network. All the food looks amazing. Pretty cool to think how small things started out, and how big they've become. I can't believe how many people they cook for now! Gut Essen!
Wow! Great pictures! I hated missing another one, but I'm glad you had such a great time and feast.
What fun! I wish we lived close enough to share in all that good food and good company!
Wonderful pics, Joanie! Thank you for sharing these. We loved seeing you! We still want to get together for a dinner with the new empty nesters! Fridays and Saturdays are still the best for us...will chat soon. Love you lots and lots
