"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Pumpkin Painting and a Road trip!

Last Wednesday for our mutual activity the Mia-maids painted pumpkins at our home. We had a fun time painting them and then we delivered them to some of the widows and older couples in the ward. It was a great activity.
On Friday, a group of my "quilting friends" invited me on a road trip to Rupert to visit "The Gathering Place" quilting shop. It is a quilter's paradise with lots of fabric and quilting kits. We had so much fun shopping, then eating lunch in Heyburn at the Upper Crust, then we drove to Burley to visit Mill End Fabrics, then on to Twin Falls where we visited another cute Quilt shop. It was a perfect "GDO" (Girl's Day out). Now I need to get to work on all my new projects.
