Part of the reason I went to Utah was to visit Patty and Hal and the other reason was to see Devin and Sarah and family. They flew in to Utah for Sarah's sister Natalie's wedding, so I got to spend some time with them while they partied in Utah. We had a fun day in Salt Lake City visiting temple square and the new City Creek development.
Eva and Sophie loved riding on Trax
I drove up Ogden Canyon on Saturday afternoon and went to Natalie's reception and picked up Sophie and she and I drove to Boise that evening where I babysat her for a few days while Sarah and Eva went to Lake Powell
with the Palmer family.
Sophie and I had some fun shopping at Costco, yum, hot dogs!
Eating pancakes,
And playing in the pool and hot tub.
Eva and Sarah got to Boise on Thursday afternoon and joined in on the fun.
Fun times at Baja Fresh
Saturday morning was our Stake Humanitarian Day. Lots of people showed up to help and they sent us in different directions to help lots of
different community groups.
Tom and I helped at the Refugee processing center by
cleaning out one of the classrooms.
This is the before:
and the after:
We spent lots of time in the pool!
Yum, Red Robin!
We had Missy and family and Carina and kids over for a pool party!
We love those kids!
Eva is a SWIMMER not a SINKER (as my Dad would say) and was so brave to go down the slide with no floaties!
Stay tuned for our trip to the cabin.
