As I've said previously, I love having Devin and Sarah and family living in Boise. It is so fun to get to see my grand kids participate in lessons, sports and activities.
Last week was Eva's first soccer match. Although it was raining, I braved the rain with my umbrella and got to watch Eva play in her first soccer match of the year.
She loved it and had a big smile on her face the entire match.
She ran up and down the field and never complained of the rain.
This weekend was also a soccer match so Tom and I planned to go on a hike before we attended the soccer match.
We drove up to Hulls Gulch.
You can see Boise off in the distance.
It was a beautiful day but a little breezy.
My allergies have been a bit difficult this year with our early spring.
Cool rock formations
Bridge selfie
Picnic selfie
Boise backdrop selfie
Hot hiker dude
Lots of Balsam Arrowroot plants in the foothills this time of year
After our hike we watched Eva play soccer. She even scored 2 goals!
Afterwards we went to DK Donuts for a delicious treat
I hope there's many more soccer matches and hikes to keep us active the rest of the spring so we can eat those delicious donuts.

Joan, you are an awesome supportive Grandma and I am so glad you have Devin's family living near by so you can do all of the fun Grandma things!
Joan, you look good in the Boise foothills. You should spend more time there with your husband.
You do look good, Joan. I know I say that in every comment, but you are so beautiful! And Tom looks pretty fine, too. Ken loves the shirt you gave him like the one he's wearing. How fun to get to watch Eva. So cute!
How fun to see Eva play soccer! You and Tom make a great hiking team!
Lucky grandparents, and I say, lucky grandkids!!! I know they love seeing you and having you come support them.
