"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Memorial Day Weekend and Taylor's Grad party

We had a busy Memorial Day Weekend. Tom and I drove down to Logan on Friday and met Pam, Roger, Grandma Stratford, Mindy, Jack and Patty at the Logan Cemetery at about 4 pm. We spent an hour locating and decorating all the family graves.

We then drove to Wellsville so we could decorate Grandma Peterson's foster parent's graves.

We all met Conrad and Hailey at Maddox in Brigham City for dinner. YUM!

Saturday Tom got to golf with Hal and then he did a great hike up Spanish Fork canyon. I got to spend the day with my sisters shopping! What fun!!! We went out to lunch at the Red Butte Cafe and found some great stores to shop in. I even found a new bedspread and some night stand dressers for my new bedroom. Patty and I met Tom and Hal at Zupa's in Provo for dinner. Sunday morning we got up early and headed home so we could get to the Single's Branch by 1 pm. It was a quick but fun trip to Utah.
Monday evening was Taylor's graduation party.

Taylor wanted to have his party with Chad (his best friend) and Chad's Mom, Lorri Carr offered to have the party at her house (I know, I got off pretty easy). We both made a big batch of pulled pork and I made a huge pasta salad and brought lots of chips and cookies. We had plenty of food but we had LOTS of people.

We probably had over 80 guests.

It was fun for Taylor and Chad to be honored and feel the love and support of all their friends, neighbors, and ward members. It was a great celebration and fitting end to Taylor's high school career.

Okay, I admit, I'm jealous I wasn't there for sister fun. The party looks great! Congrats to Taylor.
