"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Where did December go?

I can't believe that I didn't do any blog posts in December. Where did time go? As usual, December was a very busy month. I will try to remember what all took place and spend the next few hours doing a blogathon.

I had my Christmas piano recital at an Assisted Living Home in our Ward. All my students prepared a Christmas piece to share with the residents and family members that came to our recital. They all did terrific. It is always such a nice feeling to have the recital done, and not have to worry about piano lessons until the new year.
Whitney got home from BYU (CONGRATULATIONS COLLEGE GRADUATE WHITNEY!) on Tuesday evening, December 13, just in time to entertain on the piano at our Lawfirm Christmas party which we hosted. On Wednesday, we went out to Missy's and made gingerbread houses. We love Missy's family and always have so much fun with her and the kids. It has become a tradition to do gingerbread houses together.

What a cute picture of Missy and her kids at the end. I think next year we're coming to Boise instead of the other way around. Lucy would sure be happy to play with Ellie.

I love that you guys get together for this tradition every year! And it is actually a very cute gingerbread house! I know the kids really love Whitney and Aunt Joanie Baloney!
