"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Summer projects and a trip to Twin Falls

I've been doing a few home improvement projects this summer. I stained our front door and I can't believe how much better it looks. I also stained the flowerplanter that sits next to it.
I also had a frame built for the mirror in our master bathroom. I had a large builder mirror that we didn't want to take down, so I had a friend build a frame around it. Here's the before
and after. Yeah for Pinterest, where I got the idea.
Tom and I went to the Twin Falls temple last weekend. We stopped at Shoshone Falls.
It was Tom's first trip to the Twin Falls Temple. He was really impressed with how pretty it is.
We are so excited for the Boise temple to reopen. They've scheduled the open house for October 13-November 10 with a Cultural Celebration on November 17 and the temple rededication on November 18.
