Taylor and his doubles partner Reed Stauffer played in the District tennis tournament last week. They played Vallivue and Mountain View on Tuesday and Wednesday and Capital won easily. On Thursday they played a really good Borah team but we won 6-3,6-4. That win put Capital into the championship match on Friday night against Boise. Boise has not lost this season, so we knew it would be a tough match. We had first set jitters and lost the first set 6-0, OUCH, but then relaxed and played much better in the second set and lost 7-5. So Capital got second in District and will play in the state tournament this coming weekend. Go Reed and Taylor. One of these days we will beat Boise (hopefully this weekend)

Oh man. Wish you could have beat Boise once and for all. Great job Tay! Play! Fight! Win!
Don't worry about it Taylor. As legend has it, you're the only man known to have defeated a brick wall in the game of tennis. I'm sure you'll rock'em at state!
